“I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported — one filled with empathy, validation, and encouragement. ”
Clinical Experience and Approach
Diana is a Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist with a special focus on couples. With experience in private practice, clinics, and community settings, she brings a culturally sensitive, relational approach to therapy. As a Latina, she values the intersection of identity, culture, and connection in emotional well-being.
Her work focuses on helping clients recognize and shift patterns that impact closeness, conflict, and communication. Rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), she supports clients in understanding their relationship dynamics through an attachment lens. Diana is certified in Prepare/Enrich for premarital and committed couples and is currently pursuing certification as a Sex Therapist under the supervision of Rivka Sidorsky, LCSW-C.
In Diana’s Words:
My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and grounded in a genuine human connection. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported — one filled with empathy, validation, and encouragement. While I deeply value compassion, I also believe in being honest and transparent in a way that fosters growth.
I’m not the kind of therapist who only nods along or tells you what you want to hear. Instead, I aim to walk alongside you with authenticity — offering both support and gentle challenge when needed. My goal is to help you create meaningful change, strengthen your sense of self, and build the resilience to move forward with intention and confidence.
About Me
I'm married with two school-aged kiddos who definitely keep life lively and full! As a military family, we've had the unique opportunity to live in different places, which has helped us grow, explore new interests, and connect with a variety of communities.
Outside of my role as a therapist (and mom/wife!), I’m intentional about making space for the things that recharge me — whether it’s spending time with friends, making new memories with loved ones, or simply having a good laugh. I’m especially into strength training and love trying out new fitness and wellness hobbies throughout the year. And if there’s a new locally owned restaurant nearby, you can bet I’m checking it out. I truly believe that adventure is all around us — in the food we try, the places we go, and the people we meet along the way.
