Group Therapy

There is power in connecting with others who are going through similar situations. Peer to peer support can be very affirming because all group members are there for the same outcome. Group therapy allows you to give your perspective and share your vulnerabilities with other members who are there to provide normalization, validation and reassurance. Group therapy also provides you the opportunity to connect, see things differently and to build upon another’s group member’s outlook. Groups typically run on an 8-week cycle and are 90-minutes in length.

Testimonials

  • “This was my first group therapy experience, so I had no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at how light I felt at the end of every session. Connecting with other women of different backgrounds who share the same struggles was refreshing to not feel alone.”

  • “This was my first women's group experience and I was nervous to start. I worried that I wouldn't be able to relate to anyone or know what to say. But the experience was fantastic. Even though I was outside of my comfort zone, I was welcomed warmly by everyone. We all came as our own unique selves and shared and learned from each other, nonjudgmental and openly. Most importantly, I realized we as women all share similar burdens, issues, and concerns and being able to talk about them openly was a welcome relief.”
